BBC Abuse Prevention and Procedures Ministry

For the safety and security of the children and youth in our care and for the safety of our volunteers, Bethany Baptist Church has created an Abuse Prevention and Procedures (A.P.P.) policy. Anyone wanting to volunteer for our children and youth programs must first complete the A.P.P. paperwork and attend the mandatory annual training.

Please find the necessary paperwork below.

You will also need to get a Criminal Record Check, including the Vulnerable Sector Check, at your local RCMP detachment. Please contact the church office or the A.P.P. ministry coordinator to obtain a volunteer cover letter which allows you to receive the Criminal Record Check at the discounted price of $5.

If you print off the Volunteer Application Process page first, you can use that as a checklist as you fill out your paperwork in order to ensure that all steps are completed.
